Hey, everyone! I'm Vashti Skinner. I'm pursuing a degree in elementary education. I am originally from Indiana, but I have lived in the Fairbanks area for the last year and a half with my maternal grandparents. I enjoy listening to different types of music, and find myself listening to it while doing almost everything. From reading to doing homework, I have some sort of music playing in my ears. Throughout this blog, I will hopefully be sharing my thoughts and experiences with music as a whole. I'm excited to connect with you and explore new ideas together. The following picture has a lot of my favorite things, as I love a good cup of coffee while I read and fall just so happens to be my favorite season.

So if anyone has a song they want to share, you are more than welcome to put a link in the comments, and I'll check it out. I went to one concert with a friend, and I thought it was fun. I've been making plans to go to another concert, but I am waiting for the band to go on tour. It doesn't seem like they are going to anytime soon, but all good things are worth the wait.
Here are some examples of artists/songs that I enjoy listening to:

Like you, lyrics are such an important part of my musical enjoyment. Concerts can be great. Even smaller groups. I see that Casey Smith Project is coming to the Pub next month. Might be worth a listen??
